Education and Training
Madelyn's path to becoming a fashion designer began with comprehensive training in couture dress making at the prestiges OTIS College of Art and Design. This education provided her with a solid foundation in the meticulous techniques of all arts required for creating bespoke garments. She has since integrated these traditional methods with modern technology and design principles, particularly in the realm of performance and sportswear.

Her collections emphasize durability and minimal environmental impact, increasing the sustainable styles at each company she has been employed, designing and moving companies to use more eco-friendly fabrics, as well as redesigning packaging from plastic to biodegradable, reflecting her dedication to reducing the fashion industry’s ecological footprint.
Versatility
Madelyn has worked in every category of womens wear including knits, denim, outerwear, graphics, sweaters, hats and accessories, swimwear, and worked many years specializing in light woven styles. During this time, she catapulted her category in both accreditation and sales. Madelyn then worked up to work as creative director to broaden her skills to include photoshoot production, video production, asset creation, as well as email and website design.
Community and Advocacy
In addition to her design work, Madelyn is deeply committed to environmental conservation. She donates her time to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach, where she contributes to the rehabilitation and protection of marine life. Similarly, she is an active member of the Surfrider Foundation fundraising for the conservancy of our coastlines as well as participating in environment clean-ups. Also, she participates in Orangewood Foundation events to raise money to help educate and support under privileged youth and prevent human trafficking.
